Design Focus

In the ever-ubiquitous field of cyber, it is crucial for the Air Force to find skilled individuals and retain them. How can Air Force recruiters and hiring managers better manage talent and increase retention rates in cyber career fields?


Background

During the Cyber 21st Century Training Model Design Sprint in 2016, government and industry participants looked at how the Air Force can create a cyberspace training model that meets the evolving needs of cyberspace operations. The sprint outcomes included recommendations on better recruitment and training processes. This upcoming sprint will now address how to manage talent throughout a career life-cycle in order to ensure job satisfaction and retain the talent needed to meet the needs of the Air Force.
